As part of the entry for the Beatson’s Building Supplies we are asking all competitors to contribute to local causes and help reduce our environmental impact. Each entrant is asked to contribute at least £30. Donations will be divided between the following 3 causes.

Salen Youth Group offers a safe and social indoor space for children, and funds will help them with equipment, crafting materials and healthy snacks. The group attracts between 10 and 25 participants and they hope to grow this number.

Ross of Mull and Iona Community Transport Scheme allows the local community to access transport for a variety of reasons. This includes medical care, food shopping, prescription collection and visiting social events. It is particularly useful for those on their own and without transport, offering a community lifeline. Funds will help with running costs.

Dunans Woodland Carbon Offset Scheme will offset the CO2 produced by a rally car at the event for each £30 donation, using an Argyll based scheme. This will be a certified offset, with the tree planting enhancing the local environment and supporting its diverse wildlife. The estate also supports local employment and diversity.

The details on this form will be held on computer in order to be used for the administration of this event.
